I think you're probably taking it too personally. I posted stuff a month or so ago, sequentials even, and got only a handful of replies.

There's been a fall off in the studio forums for a while now. I'm just as guilty as everyone at this point... but quality critiques have been on the decline as has participation in general. I've been thinking of ways to improve this but it's a matter of motivation for everyone here.

As for the draw off thing... your art is improving but so is everyone elses. I understand how competition can be a motivator and if that's what gets you going, take a look at who's ahead of you in the voting and try to see what people might be seeing in their work over yours. Sometimes people leave reasons why they voted one way or another and you can use that information to improve.

I think I'm done with draw offs myself. I think they are fun and all but I look at what I've done over the years and noticed that most of it was for draw offs that really didn't mean much in the grand scheme of things. I need to focus my energy on other things (Like PJU's Everforce or creating something else more long term after that).

To the point, you'll soon realize that all artists are just trying to do their own thing and have very little time to wage personal wars against anyone. If you remove yourself from the drama that is a message board community and use it as a tool for promotion and learning, you'll feel much better.

I don't know what that poll is... to get 15000 votes, you'd pretty much have to get the entire logged membership of the site, including dead accounts, to vote "yes".

Not to mention that there was no poll last night. Someone is being silly.
