    Underwater Commission 'coloured'

After I finished the pencils I alternated to another commission I was doing but then I was informed that I did not have as much time to finish this one as I had initially thought. I was given a deadline of basically a day to finish the inking and colouring and adding the text for the poster.
I knew I couldn't do a decent colouring job in that little time so I decided to go with the more colouring book style inking to help clarify the image which wasn't going to have the advantage of shadows and tones:

The 'colours' are just the flat tones, I don't really feel comfortable leaving an image like this, but I didn't really have much choice. All things considered I don't think it turned out too badly for what it is.
The top is full of the poster text as well as the side of the boat, but I left the 'Dive Deeper' just because.

(this is a poster for a music concert, believe it or not)

    a music concert?!

    This needs more explanation...please, lol.

Lol, don't ask me to explain it, I don't understand it either. I just drew what I was paid to (making extra sure that it was actually what they wanted and no-one was playing a trick on me or that there was a mis-communication somewhere).
I'm happy it's still liked, even without proper colouring.

It works quite well like that, the colours do a good job of enhancing the image.

Whoever came up with the brief was certainly 'thinking outside the box'
