Iron Grievous! That's great! And I know, it doesn't much ressemble IM in it's final incarnation, but it did start out that way. I was probably channeling my inner Transformer at the time. Think of him as "Future Imperfect Iron Man".

Pat Lee is the person who drew iron man with a ton of detail in the house of M. Without the color, his would not have resembled iron man. There are a few characters that have certain symbols that can give them instant recognition even if their body's are distorted in the many different comic art styles - wolverines hair and claws, spiderman spider on his chest body webbing and eyes, goblins ears and eyes, etc.... Iron man really isn't one of those characters other than the chest symbol. I am just personally expressing that I like your rendition and with a good coloring job he could easily be recognizable.

Yeaaaahhhhh! I feel the same way. Because Stark is an inventor and an engineer, it stands to reason that his creations may be complete revamps on the drawing board. His distinguishable feature is the trademark yellow and red suit colour. And maybe a bottle of rum. Thanks, John!

Hey gang! Just came across an awesome piece of artwork from one of our DW neighbours. Armornsilverstreak coloured my Iron Man in this thread and did a smashing job! What do you think?

That's a cool rendition (the sketch), and I like Mudcat's colors a lot. I think he used to post here too.
