You know I think we could turn this into a kind of "Embarassing Moments " thread, if done correctly, there are alot of horrible costumes out there ! I`ll start it off with the one that comes to my mind any time I think of bad costume design.

those are some main ones but theres a few more

Redesigning characters like BATMAN, SUPERMAN, CAPTAIN AMERICA, or SPIDER-MAN is folly. Coming up with "better" or more iconic costumes for those characters is nearly impossible. Many have tried, but in the end, these designs get "reset" to the classic costumes. It's essentially a branding issue, but there's also the idea that these costumed icons are tried and true, surviving the test of time. Superman, Batman and Spider-Man are characters known around the world. Only Mickey Mouse is more recognizable than Superman. That speaks volumes about how such character designs are embraced and accepted.
