    Weekly Sketch Group 26

    Ok guys to make up for being late here are two ideas for this week.


    The result of a tragic lab experiment, a tortured subject is left with powers that make him an electric god.

    The bg is just ink applied using a dry brush technique, while the figure is using a crow quill. The finest nib. (Don't know nib about sizes, sorry.)

    Is it just any old brush or are their is some specific kind you need?

    I used a cheap student brush. They are better than the softer brushes like sable hair for the technique because you don't have to worry about damaging good brushes if you get experimental.
