New Captain America Design (and old one for comparison)

Well folks here is my new Captain America design for JLG's challenge. I choose the Winter Soldier (Aka Bucky Barnes) for my base character. I also decided to include an old piece of work that I was originally going to include for the "Most Improved" Drawoff, but I didn't get a chance to post another sketch. Comments welcome.

Great idea for the Winter Soldier as the next Captain America. I don't think he would put Cap's mask on the shield though lol. Also that Iron Man face plate is a bit small. Good luck with the draw off. I might enter it too.

Lol ... I know the mask on the shield is a little different ... lol. I thought it could kind of be an "up yours" sign to Iron Man for what he did to Rogers. Also ... I know the faceplate may be a bit small, but when I kind of drew a full helmet in there it was close ... but thanks for the input ... I have been learning a lot from the guys/gals on the site. So please keep the comments coming.

P.S. I was checking out your site ... ummm ... your stuff is awesome!!!

lol thanks, and yeah I found that penciljack is one of the best places to learn with its rich resource of talents who actually know what they're talking about. Good luck on the draw-off.

Lakcoo2u thanks for the good luck wish ... I am going to need it ... lol. To be honest it would be cool to get a few votes ... but I am just happy with the result here. It is as close as I have ever gotten to geting what is in my head on to the page. Also, I couldn't agree more about the talent here ... I have only posted one other drawing so far ... so my feed back has been a bit limited ... but I intend to try to get a lot more on. I have also been paying a lot of attention to the advice given to other pencilers. It is how I have found a lot of the reference websites I have been trying to learn from, mainly for anatomy. So thanks for your input, and I can't wait for more.
