It'll probably be awhile before I try something like this again, because it took me far too long, but I had fun doing it, and I definitely pushed myself.

I really like it. Based on the P-51B, I assume?

Thanks man - good eye on the Mustang. I almost used a Spitfire instead, and actually did rudimentary sketches for a bunch of WWII fighters (Bf-109, Zero, Thunderbolt).

I ended up shortening the wings, raising the rear fuselage to accomodate the jet engine, eliminating the prop, and giving it a sort of inverse Liberator style tail to prevent the flames from damaging it.

Has an art deco feel with the heavy contrasty colours and really darks blends. Good work!
