Jesus wept (new art added in October)

I did this drawing with pencil, blending stump, and eraser - then I touched it up using B&W digital painting. I colored/painted it, but ended up liking the pencil version much more. If you want to see the colored version, go here:

It is a Christian site with some music and videos...but I think you can enjoy the sights and sounds even if you are pagan.

The drawing looks very nice, but your post confuses me a little. Are you asking for artistic critique and advice here, or advertising for the web site? If it's the latter, you've posted this to the wrong forum.

It is the former, of course - artistic critique and advice. I give the site so that people can see the painted version. And I mention a few details about the site because I want people to realize what it is - in this "politically correct" world we live in, it seemed like the proper thing to do being that it is religious.

theres no doubt teh pencil work is strong. Only thing since teh focus is his tears, maybe they could be more pronounced, but thats a matter of opinion

It is truly, amazingly good! The hands in particularly are well done. What did you use for source reference?

That is amazing work! Love the details and the cleanliness of it all. I do agree with Psychic though... if the focus is the tears they can stand to be a wee bit more pronounced. *thumbs up*

    Those textures are dynamite!
What are the dimensions for this exactly? And what pencil values did you use?
