How Spiderman3 could have been Better.

The more the merrier does NOT apply to villains in a Marvel movie.

You'd think the comic book industry would have learned this after Superman 2.

If they focused on only one of the villains, the movie would've been ten times better.

The movie was way to long, you cant have a movie go on like that without an intermission. The middle section was awesome tho when he was dealing with the black suit.

They should have just saved venom for the next film,and let him torture parker like he did in the comics.
I have mixed fealings about this movie,in some ways I think it was the best spiderman movie yet,and in some ways it was the worst.

Also a tad rant on the movie going experience as a whole.We have some state of the art screens and projectors at our local cineplex,and in no way does it look anywhere as good as my 60inch 1080p sony hdtv with Blueray. They need to figure out a new way of showeing movies,because right now its not cutting it.

Seriously though, the film could have been improved greatly.

Keep more of the focus on Harry.

I'd have cut Sandman out completely. I wasn't that impressed with THC and his character arc seemed to drag and it had no real resolution.

Focus on Harry being a bad guy and then he becomes a good guy in the end and dies.

Give Topher Grace a bigger role. This is probably a real breakout role for him.

i rly thought it was odd that they showed all these scenes of peter being a douche even before he had the symbiote on him, i just ended up disliking him as a character instead of feeling bad for him that the symbiote controlled his emotions. i thought that was the whole point, that the alien made him a jerk, not just make him even more of an ass than he was already. i just didnt connect with peter like in the first 2 movies, was way too self centered for my tastes

also, shoulda said what id change.

keep sandman out of the movie, and ignore the whole uncle bens murder bs. have the whole plot be more character driven. give gwen a bigger role, and have the main focus be on how peter messes up everyones lives(cheating on mj, taking brocks girl and job, more drama between him and harry)

have the symbiote entry be less corny attaching to peters bike. flesh out the plot of peter and his teacher mr conners figuring out what the symbiote does and its weaknesses. would have been cool to have the symbiote sample from the lab attach itself to conner and grow his arm back forshadowing the lizard, and maybe they find the weakness it has for sound during this scene

I agree witj nixing Sandman. Good character, and THC did a great job, but he should've been a solo villian in 4.

More Venom. They didn't develop Brock enough in this one, so it was no biggie to see him die at the end.

I think a major problem with Kirsten Dunst as Mary Jane Watson is the hair color dye. You know when it looks too obvious that they changed an actor's hair color for a role? Well, this is definitely a good example. I know redheads are rare, especially in Hollywood, but they could of tried harder..

get someone hot to play mary jane instead of baby teeth dunst. ugh!

Being "hot" isn't a necessity to MJB's character. Than again, you're a guy so nevermind.

Clearly you don't read Amazing Spider-man. I thought her being a model is part of her character.

Should of been Topher Grace and Bryce Dallas Howard to play Peter and MJ. They would certainly look better for the parts.
