Is the list on page 1 the order that we are going to use or are you going to try to geographically keep them close?

I was thinking that if some of our friends from across the pond want to join, it might be better either start with them or finish with them. That would save on shipping for some people.

Of course, it would be cool to have the images bounce around the world.

    Definitely something to consider.

It would be pretty easy for me to finish mine and then just give it to my wife instead of sending it off, and then having someone send it back to my house.

Put AH's name before mine on the list...that way when I get the book I can rip his page out and keep it and save myself some cash from ever having to commission him.

That's what made me think of it actually.

176 pages total...but it doesn't say the paper weight on it...but the paper is thicker than your average copy paper if that's any help. For $6.50...just order one and see for yourself...if you don't think it's good enough you can always keep it for yourself.

That's a good idea. It would require that we get the 100 people first, and then I'd have to go through them all and find the easiest route for them all, but I'd be willing to do that. It makes sense. But in the states at least with overnight being what it is, LA to NY and back to LA doesn't make a difference. But if a couple people are, say, within driving distance, it could also promote some face-to-face meetings.

What might be a neat inclusion is if everyone scanned the envelope in which the sketchbook arrived and as part of the end product we include prints of those scans to show where it's gone.

I think getting all the US folks first, then the European and then the South American or South Asian folks in order would be a good idea. (Don, this means you buddy.)

Shipping the book overseas in my opinion would be a mistake for two reasons:

    1. International shipping takes ****ing forever to do...I have shipped packages to other countries and had them take over a month to deliver.

    2. The shipping overseas is gonna be expensive...no ifs ands or buts about it. Realize that.

    Just something to consider.

Edit: I just read Ben's plan...much better to do the states first and then the other countries...
