I finally decided to start one of these threads, so here's a bunch of sketches dating from roughly July 2006-on.
I'm not much of a pure sketcher, since I usually try and ink and color anything I'm remotely happy with. Anything else in my sketchbook is usually unmotivated, or very rough studies. Hopefully this will help with that...

Misc. (the top piece is a reworking of one I posted in pencilling. I'll post the original when I find the link):

Ok... finally have some sketches uploaded, so here goes...
Some more BPRD (not the greatest likenesses, and Abe bears a disturbing likeness to Marilyn Manson):
A sketch that was going to be Hellboy with a priest:
Random face:

Sketches for an old jig:
Some Rhino sketches for the newest jig (pre-reference):
...and some really rough sketches of Master Chief for the Championship Series:

Another Master Chief sketch, and a quick Punisher:
The rough pencils for my March Championship Series entry:
...And the initial flats for the same piece, using pencils that were adjusted in levels. I really didn't care for the way it looked so I decided to try the digital inks that you can see in my final entry:

Man, I love your BPRD stuff. One of these days Alice, one of these days we gotta get something started in the Community Projects.

Heh, that never did get off the ground did it...
I friggin love drawing those characters, so i'm gonna start trying to think of a story. Maybe we can give it another shot. Any ideas, just shoot me a PM...
I'm a huge fan of the way Guy Davis and Dave Stewart work together, and I'm hoping to work that into my own stuff a little bit. The final Halo pic was my first real attempt at that.

I'm going to try and do a little step-by-step, for anyone that's interested...
First up - my initial sketch for the drawing. I haven't drawn in a while, and I had a bunch of problems with this. They're proportion problems that I tend to have with drawing females, but I think I spotted most of them. Namely the head is way too small, the torso a bit too thick, and the legs way too long. I fixed as much of it as I could with pencil (you can see that I made the legs much shorter, and that I've laid in some heavy correction lines in places, but I left most of the clean up for Photoshop.
Next step... Photoshop clean up.
