    I don't think it's for perspective, it's for spacing on the clock itself to keep the numbers and other clock details spaced equidistant.

    But I wonder how he applied it to the clock to figure out the exact spacing? I wish I could sit there and watch him draw from start to finish to see how he does all that gridwork and applies it to his drawing...I really need to learn/understand that kind of stuff for my own art.

    It's just a pie chart Juan. You use an adjustable triangle to get the proper spacing.

    I don't hate the guy or anything, his art just really doesn't do that much for me. I agree with Bovey about the way he spots his blacks though. The Moon Knight/Spidey piece is good but Spidey's wrist appears to be broken. Eh..artistic license I guess.

    I know that...I got about halfway through it...just haven't finished it up yet. You'd probably be surprised by the amount of how to draw books I own but never use...
