I don't see too much of a difference between what he's doing now compared to his stuff on Ascension.

Compare that to the Batman pick you just posted, not alot has changed.

No..I don't totally disagree with you on stuff you type...Just some of it...Check again

Yeh...I could be wrong and never checked out Riplaw 1/2. I was under the impression when he did Cyberforce after Silvestri that was his first gig. My bad. From what I remember his stuff seemed cool and he liked to over work his stuff.

Maybe on his men...but his women sure have come a long way...just look at the chick's face on that cover and compare it to how he draws them now...much more realistic than that.

Trust me, you ain't missing nothing. I bought it when you had to send that little coupon from the Wizard magazine in with $3.00 to cover the postage...and when I got it, I flipped through it real quick and then pitched it in the garbage. It was horrible.

Just to keep up with the trend, Juan. His women may be more realistic to you but they are as ugly as sin

His faces were better back then.

If you can do better...then get your asses to the drawing table and get something done.

Ha, I had Finch sign my copy. It was hard resisting rubbing his bald head.

He still uses value as part of his style but he has a more natural anatomy now than the stiff anatomy from back in the day. When he was with Top Cow he was still slightly apeing Silvestri but with his own style mixed in. Can't truly say what's going on now except his art (these few samples) is reminding me of a PLATT and Brett Booth mixture with his own style.

Either way I truly love those new pieces from him I've seen.
