    The Amazing Screw-on Head/Hellboy - SoS

Both came out on DVD yesterday. Anyone get em? Extras any good? I assume this means they're not doing anymore with ASoH.

Didn't care as much for Storm of Swords, but I might pick up that Screw-On Head. I don't care to pay much for a half-hour show, though... what's the retail on that? More than $10?

Goddammit. I really wanted them to pick up ASoH. One of the best new cartoon pilots I've seen in ages.

    Never saw that Hellboy one.

I hear the Hellboy: SoS DVD is pretty packed with features. A lot of behind-the-scenes stuff, feature commentary, interviews.

I bought the Hellboy DVD yesterday, but haven't gotten around to watching anything on it, I'm lazy.

It's not that Storm of Swords was bad or anything... it's just that I have high standards for animation, and I was following the blog fairly regularly so I had my hopes up. Ultimately what I saw was about on par, maybe a little better, than what I saw from the Avengers direct-to-DVD movie. It wasn't as stylised as I had hoped from Galloway's models, though, and the actual animation was about what I've come to expect from most animated programs that are boarded and directed in the US but actually produced overseas.

I just wanted it to be so much more.
