El Gato Negro and El Valiente!

These are 2 characters participating in the 2008 event from Arcana, "War of the Independents". I thought I'd go with the gladiator theme since I have no idea what the whole crossover event's plot will actually be. This was a fairly quick one for me. El Gato Negro, created by fellow Texan Richard Dominguez and El Valiente is a luchador super hero created by Ray Ramos a fellow El Pasoan and a member of Project IV Publishing.

Thats a really nice image. I especially like the guy crouching in front. The only thing I would mention is that the guy's head at the back seems a little oddly shaped towards the back left and the sword looks like it was drawn in as an afterthought. Keep posting this stuff up please!

Nice work. My only comment would be that the design of the crouching figure is so close to Wolverine that I would be concerned about it. I know it isn't your design, and not your fault, it is just something I noticed.

It might have been the way I drew it, I know Richard Dominguez's design has him wearing a kind of visor but I changed small things here and there. Here's a link to the original stuff by the character's creator.

It's a strong pinup, Rudy. I noticed, El Gato Negro's left arm from his shoulder blade looks awkward, even disjointed and the club he's holding really thins out to his hand. Other than that it's great.
