    the placement of that back arm looks off. also I think you should put more thought into what areas you want to be dark.

    He meant that there is too much of it that it'll flatten the image because the cape is flowing over the place and it seems more black than the night sky. You probably can't see the black because of the scan so import the image in photoshop and adjust the darkness and the contrast and you can visualize better how it will look inked.

    Anatomy is the biggest issue with me here. The character seems too stocky - his arms and torso are too short, IMO. Also, his head seems a bit too large.

    I think the proportions would be a little better this way:

    doh! i see what you mean about the blacks now deth, thanks for clearing that up greendri ill fix that in a little bit. appreciate the overlay i see it now, sadly proportions have never been my strong suit pete but i am working on getting them right!

    Thought I'd help help u on your merry way but I have to suggest before you do ambitious pieces of work. Do a lot of thumbnails so u can sort issues with spotting blacks. It may help with proportions too.

    actually i did do a couple of each heres the ones i was happy with. the thumbnail spread measures 4x6 inchs ( i actually did each one in separate sketch books and taped them together later after i decided to turn the D.H. pinup into a spread). the final spread measures 14x22 inchs. here it is.
