Possible Wolverine drawoff entry

Well the idea came from that thread anyways.
One of those late night drawings
-though the coloring took it to early morning so I ended up rushing the colors a bit to get it done.

I know he's probably not hairy enough and he looks more like a tall guy than a short and stubby one but..
well no excuses.

Although everything you say is true, I really like this picture. The ony thing I would like to have seen different is bone claws instead of adamantium. It just strikes me as a more feral Wolverine.

Nice one korintic - I prefer the metal claws myself. You should enter it in the draw-off just for kicks.

A crit: the perspective seems to get a bit funny around the hands. The spear guy looks like he's thrusting the spear directly to his left, but Woverine's grip on the spear makes it look like they're actually on different planes and he is standing closer to the viewer. Of course, Wolverine could just have a weak grip on the spear... I don't know if that makes any sense, but I tried...

It's an awesome illustration, but that definitely doesn't look like Wolverine. The only indicator that would even suggest it is the claws.

xvatka -Thanks. Glad you like it.

krikkit13 -It makes perfect sense. I wish I would have catched that while it was still in pencils. I don't think I can explain it away with a loose grip but it helps a bit.

dfbovey -I was afraid of that. The pic just took wrong turn (on the being on model thing) early on and I just went to that direction for too long because I thought it looked neat. I think I'm still going to enter this in to the drawoff thread and so that I have a good reason to make another pinup before the deadline to replace this (as long as I have time -but it'll make me try harder to find the time).

Love the coloring. I agree that it doesn't look like Wolverine, though. Give him body hair X100. Also, his "horned" hairstyle and facial hair design(sideburns, nothing else) are so unique that if you nail those, you can play with his proportions a bit and still keep him easily recognizable.
