Thanks. I know these days slick inks are quite popular in comics, but inks don't necessarily need be slick. Personally I sometimes find the slick inks a bit static and mechanical. I myself prefer a more flowing, organic approach.

nice job. Tree came out very good. Only crit is that the lion blends in with the other shapes, think it would of been cool to have her in the tree. The obvious attention was on the tree/foliage, the cat is secondary it seems. Good job all around.
Thanks. The idea was to play up the tree as almost an extension of the lioness. The placement, the shape, the texture, was set-up to compliment and blend her, while she awaits patiently just before springing off after the prey.
