    Age and Critiques

I have alittle trouble giving critiques on this website because I dont know the age level of the artist that has drawn the drawing.

I mean like, if your 25 I would use different words to and critique differently than if someone were 10.

I dont wanna dash any kids dreams, but I dont want to go easy on anyone who needs an in depth crit.

I know when I was young. I was still developing and I know Im better now than I was then. I wouldnt expect my son to be able to draw at my skill level at his age. (he's only 7)

Whats are your guys thoughts on this?

some people here have their birthdate listed in their profiles.
for those that don't... let them have it. they're asking for it.

it's funny that you're complaining about this since you don't have anything listed anout yourself in your profile. haha, you're part of the problem!

Constructive criticism is appropiate for all ages! If people want to argue with you afterwords it is just them being immature .

If you just tell someone what they did wrong, hardly anyone is going to react positively to that, but if you offer suggestions and are helpful, then unless people are egotistic and think they are better than jesus, they should recieve it well.

Even if someone said like, "oh this is cool" he`d be all like "YEA I KNOW IT IS COOL YOU IDIOT I DREW IT OF COURSE IT IS COOL CUZ I AM THE FREAKIN GREATEST! I SPIT ON YOU WORM!"

I'll have to agree with Spooko here

    (except the Jesus thing, Juan)

I'm 17, and I expect people to rip my stuff up. Sometimes I get a little arsey late at night, (I know you've seen it) but I can take it.

Fair warning, I have no idea what I'm doing. I'm going to keep doing it though.

Well since a child I have always found that quote of one of the Beatles saying they were "bigger than jesus" very amusing .

It is a reference to that, but I used better because we are talking about art Skillz .

Yeah, I know. By the way, I wanted to know if you remembered my redesign doohickey? I'm actually trying to get others to draw it so I can reference. So your advice didn't go to waste. And it proves your point.
