No it's not. Tracing is using an existing picture to draw from. Light boxing is taking your original sketch and transferring it to a board so that you can go in and do the finished pencils. Two completely different things.

Well, I sure don't like being called an ass while trying to help sort things out. And I agree, the stuff looks traced. If not, then you've got nothing to worry about other than your storytelling ability.

It's not arrogance, is self defence... But thanks anyway... I feel that prejudice exists, this subject extended to a conceptual fight. It is not more about my capacity to draw but if it's or it's not something that is not... And that is not good for me... I thank all for the critics but I won't post here(in this topic) anymore.

So are you going to do that every time someone replies to one of your threads with a comment you don't like? If so, why even bother posting in the first place?

I figured it was traced. and poorly done at that, Now i can see where the details he added after tracing really lack.

The only thing I believe should be traced is ones own drawings. Especially using the light box method to finalize your sketches onto bristol boards.
