I have created a petition to motivate DC/Vertigo Comics to make the Preacher movie. I need everyone's signatures.
PLEASE!!

For the last two years I have been explaining my interest in writing a screenplay for it but they won't budge.

Even if you don't like comics or graphic novels or you just don't know how to read, do it for CINEMA. Just to see a damn original film!

Hello salenda,

I can't sign your petitition. I think it is due to the fact that I don't live in any of the 50 states---grrrr. When I signed the petition and was going towards verification, I was given the message sorry that this offer isn't available in your location, you will directed shortly to another link or something to that effect. I'm in Canada--don't know if that makes a difference? In any case, I wish you all the best but in the future if I am able to sign the petition I will be happy to do so although I only vaguely heard about the Preacher.

I understand the story better than some jerk trying to appeal to the generation that has been spawned from every damn mall around the world.

Right, but what makes you a better choice than, say, Garth Ennis or a professional screenwriter? Or have you written movies already?

that seems silly, I mean if you are so interested in writing a screenplay then just write it. How can you expect anyone to sign a petition and instil their faith in your "great ability for adaptation" when we havent seen a lick of work from you??? huh??? I would be very surprised if you went to a company and asked them to move on a multi million dollar project with only your word that you can write a good screen play. Thats just crazy.
