This piece has the same look and feel as an old Jim Lee Punisher War Journal cover but I will assume that is just coincidence. Anyway you need to really work on your anatomy, Spiderwoman shoulders are off and uncomfortable plus there are multiple foreshortening issues. Try drawing from life instead of comics and you will be amazed at how much better your work as a whole will look.

i know what war journal your talking about.
i have it. and yes it was a coincidence.
    here it is

but yeah... i realize crits on here are commonplace and alot of users give em and thats fine... but i know what i like and dont like and feel im my own biggest crit that i really have to worry about since i do this for fun... but with that said, im going to have to pretty much completly disagree with your crits, my anatomy maybe not completly realistic but i feel that your crit of my anatomy "really needs work" is not so strong of point, its more just your opinon on style more than anything... as far as the shoulders, throw your head forward, cock your shoulders and put your arms back and i think your'll find they are pretty spot on. as far as "uncomfortable"... maybe, but spiderwoman is supposed to be "spidery" right. i think it looks right.
the foreshortening crit i just dont really understand cause there is barely any in this shot. i suppose there might be a few with the distance their bodies are from the wall and how the shadows display that. but yeah...

you'll have to excuse me its just i dont agree, im not saying im right and your wrong.
and i know this site caters to critiquing but i feel my opinons are just as valid as some strangers.
i guess on sites like these i rather look at the cool artwork and say its cool rather than sit there and say
"meh, that trllatioid muscle looks worng"

I agree with Manji. Drawing from life does really do some wonders.

Spider-Man looks like he's looking at Spider-Woman's chest.

Also, I find it amazing how everyone can remember the covers of all the comics. I don't know. Amazing.

But, seriously, fix that trllatioid muscle.

*sigh* Ok you're new and probably need to review the rules of this forum, because critiques are pretty much the reason you post stuff here. If you are doing it just for fun etc great just don't post here, try the Jamboree or something but the labs are for critiques. Your anatomy is off, regardless of the 'style' card and the foreshortening was in reference to Spiderwoman her arms and legs are off. I don't really consider this to be my opinion as much as a fact. I would really advise you to learn to draw from life and not comics if you are serious about an art career. Keep in mind I am not trying to argue with you just trying to give you honest critiques and advise which is what this particular lab/forum is for.

If you think your anatomy looks right then I'm glad you're just having fun.

Spidey's right arm in particular and the foreshortening on his head.

I agree about Spiderwomans shoulders. Her shoulders look almost like an ariel/overhead view which would be find if the rest of her body wasn't a straight on shot. Her legs are flat and need a bit of foreshortening.

Some figure drawing would really help you out.

I do like the turned wall.

Just a warning, but that kinda attitude is not going to get you very far on this website. This website is in no way a gallery, it was designed for in depth critiques to help aid the growth of participating artists. Crits like "meh that trllatioid muscle looks worng" are pretty common ground here. There's no problem disagreeing with a crit, but disregarding the whole process of critiquing in favor of "that's a cool drawing" is pretty ridiculous.

If you continue to post, expect people to continue to crit.

And FYI, introducing yourself to a community of seasoned artists the way you did puts a bit of a target on your back, as history has shown here.
