Porcupine

This is for the character redesign draw-off, playing around with different concepts for the Porcupine. The Porcupine is a lame ass Cap villain. But I am going to do him as a freak that was ostracized from society, turned to the occult and black magic, ultimately becoming an interrogator/torturer/magician for the Red Skull/Nazis etc. Anyway all were done with a ballpoint. Looks pretty good man. I especilly like the first sketch where he's more on the animal side of Porcupine rather than human.

Are you gonna play him off like an experiment gone bad type of look? I'm kinda picturing Weapon X series a while back when Wolverine had all that crap sticking out of his back and tube coming out of him.

looking good. I would go for more 'needles' on the him though. The old Porcupine looked so dopey. Nice take on him.

yeah those are some radical redesigns. and i love the creative inspiration behind it as well. i'd have one crit, why one or thr other? the last sketch is as he would actually look, closest to hat would be an old man. the top one could be when he morphs into his full on porcupine state and becomes more youthful.
