Continuing sketch thread ... I hope

Peek into the sketchbook, I'm going to try to sketch enough to keep this thread up and running. Summer's coming soon, hopefully I can use my time for good.

without any adu what so ever:

Sketch page from a park across from a church

Allegory of life's temptations or Death handing a midget a balloon...you decide.

seriously, does that look like a midget or is it just me? And what can I do to fix it.

And hopefully this'll grab some attention:

I'm not sure why she's standing on a coin...she just seemed petit while I was drawing her...so I made her really petit

Oh, that poor boy's hands... he cant even grab the ballon death is giving him... That death, hes got creative ways of torture

Pretty nice overall, the last one looks like you took a bit of time to draw.. the one thing that looked off to me was her ear, it looks a bit high on her dome, should be a bit lower. Also, im not sure the cylinder shes standing on matches the perspective her feet are at. Still, nice draw-rings

To de-midgetize the guy: narrow the shoulders, thin the eyebrows, and broaden his cheeks. On children, the eyes should be below the half-way line and their chins are not pronounced.

    Hope this helps!

    Micah

Thank you very much Cubanator and Faulkner.

I've fixed up the girl. she looks much better, may scan her in when I have more new stuff to post.
and the advice on children's faces was very helpful.

    Thanks a bunch.

Well, got some new stuff to update with, just random sketches without rhyme or reason. I'd love to hear any comments or crits, the pointers I got last time really helped.

and I cleaned up the girl just a little: brought the ear down a bit and fixed her shoulder, actually spent a little time on the base so it looked better, cleaned up some lines.

    tell me what ya think

    Did some Rogues Gallery sketchin'.

The two face and catwoman are pretty flat compared to Joker...I like him the most so I spent the most time on him.

But I felt bad that my catwoman turned so crappy, so I tried this:

So...second installment of the continuing thread is in...
I might actually be able to keep this thing going!
