I really like the mood and atmosphere you've created with the pic. Very successful in that aspect.

    The first things I notice:
One, his head is much too big. It dwarfs his body and just gives him the impression of looking weaker. Think big, broad shoulders in proportion to the head for a more powerful-looking figure.

Two, it seems like you shaded Doom's armor the same way you shaded everything else. Think about how to show the viewer the difference between the cloth of his cape and the metal of his armor through your pencil work. Shiny metal shadows are a lot harsher. Look at some chrome for an idea of what his armor could look like.

I agree with Darren. I like where you're going with the piece.

    Thanks for the input.
I think maybe Doom's head looks so big because I made the hood over his head so large.
Also thanks for the tip about the shading, I dont know why it didnt occur to me to shade the armor differently, I guess I was really concentrated on trying to get the shading right as compared to the hammer as a light source.

His head is unusually big, and his hands are a little small. I imagine Doom to be crazy menacing. keep it up though!

don't take this the wrong way, good drawing, but i agree with the others on this one,

    now,
one: there's no way in hell doc doom could wheeled mjolnir like that let alone lift it!
two: even if he could lift it, there's no way he could make it channle lightning for him, only the freeking god of thunder can, and i don't think thor would have a guy with doom in his name to be part time god of thunder! when thor needed some R&R,
and three: even if all this could happen, and he somehow mannged to beat Cap, iron man, thing, and Spidey (damn near impossible even for thor!) there in no way mjolnir would let doom (a super bad guy) hold it, without mjolnir trying to kill doom.

but great work, i really like it
