    Rumpelstillskin!

Still working on this one...putting final touches. What you guys think? I went with that old school rembrandt lighting. Tried to make it feel like ye old times with the candle. And tap in to that fear of monsters coming in the middle of the night and taking your baby Trying to work on my lighting and have everything fit together. I know you guys are always pointing that out

    Sweetness. Very nice.
The way you did the lighting makes it looks as if the candle was half in the picture, and half outside the picture lighting on a painting.
Darkening the black areas on the monster and lowing down the texture on those areas and the hand would to the trick imo

The baby's right eye and hand look a little awkward, but other than that this is really cool.

IS THAT BABY FLIPPING ME OFF?!

    :P

This is your best work yet.

I much prefer this to the Little Red Riding hood, which relied too heavily on OMG BOOBIES. I dunno, it just seems that whenever someone wants to make fairy tales "edgy" they just slap some tig'ol bitties on Little Red and call it a day.

Didn't Rumple traditionally have hair and a hat? I can't remember.

very creepy. i agree that a little more contrast in the candle area would be nice. great brush strokes on the creatures head
