    Werewolf! Wip Beware!!

    UPDATED PIC BELOW!!! SCROLL DOWN

So I got my first paying gig in comics!!! WHOOHOO

Zenescope saw fit to to give me the job of doing 6 pin-ups for their forthcoming grimm's fairy tales graphic novel. Here is the red riding hood wolf.

I am still working on it....want to add some branches at the bottom and add some red.

Also wanted to thank everyone on the boards for all the crits. I don't think I would have gotten this job if you guys weren't helping me hone my skillz

Congrats on the gig! I like this so far, but I'd tone down the ears a bit - they're huge right now.

Sweet! Good news on the job!

I woulds suggest darkening down the left side of his face...leaving the eye illuminated. Also, the teeth on the top seem to be poking straight out. It looks a little off to me, but what the hey!

    How about some drool?
More texture on the brown portions of his face, have it more 'pitted'?

The technique and colouring are very impressive.

For me though, the oddly placed and randomly uneven teeth are 'irritating'.

I really want to get some dark paint and get rid of that big tooth on the extreme left of the picture!

It unsettles me when I look at the picture - and detracts from my enjoyment of an otherwise fantastic piece of work.

THanks for compliments and crit guys.

The publisher signed off on teeth so no changes there

HOLY CRAP! That's awesome. My Mom liked it too. She said the wolf looks great and loves the detail in the background. I for one like the way you've done little red riding hood in there. harharhar she's looking good!

This is gorgeous! The detail is crazy-awesome, and I love the whole twisted maddness going on in the wolf. Those centered eyes really are a nice touch, has that 'those eyes are following me round the room!' feel to them. wonderful painting, luciously textured - congrats on the job!!
