went with archerions, nice inclusion of a background and all together cleaner lines. I had to rush but I think even on my top form ida been hard pressed to beat this. great work.

I think Nevermore's pic had a nice sence of movement and impact but Archerion's seems a bit more polished.

My only gripe is that you didn't Deadboy look like he was into that punch. I think yours has far better action nevermore, but Archerion's has cleaner details and doesnt look rushed.

Nevermore has produced a more 'even' piece - where he's given both characters the same amount of detailed attention - whereas Archerion has concentrated most of his time on the Death Dealer.

Even so, I've voted for Archerion - for the visual arrangement (aagh - can't think of the word) and rendering.

    Composition?

You have a point about shared screentime, Beastie. If you advance try to show a little more of your opponent next time, Archerion.

Yah that was what i was going for, I wanted both to be full visible and i didnt want to draw ones back facing us, i wanted to make them both readilly visible and i just wasnt skilled enough in my compisition, it took me like 5 different concepts to get a somewhat natural looking scene with them both being fully visible.

Thanks for the words guys, Its off to the myth drawoff for me! lol.

I had a hard time getting into drawing a character from a book. I just didnt have any passion to draw this. The next one my goal is perspective and action.

I had to go with nevermore because I'm unfamiliar with Deadboy, so his piece at least gives me some idea of what the character looks like. The Death Dealer is a bit weaker, but it's so ingrained in pop culture that you don't need to grasp at straws to get a mental image.

BTW, who the hell is Deadboy, what's he taken from?
