The fact is Supervillains are idiots, never doing the obvious-

The Hulk-Ok, first of all, you annoy him, possibly by poking him with a stick, or making him play Deal Or No Deal. Then you give him a sweet and calm him down. Then you annoy him again, then calm him, then annoy him...eventually he has a nervous breakdown.

Superman- Forget kryptonite. Superman is powered by the sun, right? What you want to do is dump a truckload of blankets on his head.

The X-Men- Whiny bastards. Just get them on Oprah and let them whine about how excluded they are and how they were never picked first.

Spiderman- Giant rolled up newspaper

V, distract him by talking about old movie stars and pointless films, take his mask and play keep away, lead him into his fake aushwitz-like camp and make crazy children's giggling sounds and eventually he'll break. I mean he's already a bit mad.
