i like the second one because it appeals to my morbid sense of humour, i think rotten.com had an entire library of photos with stillborns and abominations in the same vain. definitely not for the faint of heart. keep it in mind if you need inspiration.

for a crit, maybe show how they are made(hatched? sapling? cocoon? etc), or a growth phase showing the transformation into the monster

thanks for having a look. i'l try and pick up the pace with the updates.

jack_of_asses > yeah we all have a little morbid side. i diddnt end up using any reference with "walk the dog" but i did try looking for one, i wanted to find a good pic of a horse fetus but couldnt track one down.. o well
negative > i'l definatly do some process shots of a developing creature, sticking with this pencil tecnique, its realy good practice , get a B pencil and a HB just dont press hard, and i've found its all about how you hold the pencil..

This stuff is really awesome man ... my only beef is that its hard to see some of your great detail. Try to find some ways to get your whites to pop out a tad more as well as your blacks.

Keep posting ... I'm feeling inspired

Really cool stuff. I like how dark and creepy things look.
