    The Spirits Kiss: Mains characters

This is a illustration from a personal project I'm working with a friend: The Spirits kiss.
We are doing the story together, well, he's writing it and I'm with the character desing and trying to do a few illustrations...
We are doing this only for fun... we are not trying to publish it or anything.
These are 2 of the main characters: Ikiba and Nanouk.
The ink version it is a least 1 year old.
I finishes the color version a few weeks ago. There are a lot of errors and things that I don't like but after being working on the color for almost 1 month I was really tired and I decided to finish. One thing I'm happy with it that I learn a lot of things.

    Thanks for having a look!!

This is friggin awesome! Really nice colouring. I'm experimenting with a similar style myself, with mixed results. Nothing as polished as yours however. Good stuff!

That's very nice. The female's skintone changes between her face and back/arm, but everything else is tight. I particularly like the blue highlights on the guy.

Damn this is pretty nice to look at. Mase is right though, the skintone seems to change as you work your eyes down her back and arm. I suppose that's partly because you wanted to maintain consistency with the dimished lighting as you move away from her face, which seems to have the most intense light focus. Regardless this looks damn impressive.

Beautiful colors, and you have quite improved over a year!

Waiting to see more of your stuff.

    Thanks guys for the comments

I will love to see your stuff Mr Hades in something similiar to this.

About the light you are right. I usually use at the end a layer with a gradient with yellow, red and blue and put it in overly mode to try to focus in the important part of the pic and make fade away a little others parts... The main problem is in her... the yellow light it is in her face and then changed.. but I like in the way that drive the attention to her because she is who is the main character...
I don't know if this make any sense...
