That is cool
I always wanted to vist Marvel's Bullpin/studio myself. I wonder what percentage of pros do work at Marvel. I had a picture of Mark Texeria doing some color guides in this book that is about 15 years old.
Yeah, so I heard about these free writing workshops at a city RIGHT next to mine for a non-profit art magazine called Voice.
I get there and there are a bunch of comic artists types and a media room with five flatscreen computers and a wacom tablet like a small dance floor.
And they are all, you can come up any time and use the equipment to make art and you can start drawing a comic for our magazine. You get a half page to yourself, maybe full.
Then, to top it all off, the guy is like, we interviewed Joe Quesada for our magazine, here you can have a signed copy.
So someone can just shoot me now, I would die happy.
Just thoght I would share some of this awesomeness with you guys. Cheers,
-Travis

very cool.
How do you make a half-page comic? I mean, other than a strip.
Pretty much a big strip, I guess. I've been given an opportunity to go into print... I'll find a way, believe me
