okay... where do I begin. As I am by no means an expert inker yet, I have gotten a ton of help from these boards. First off... it is best when posting an inking piece and refering to a pencil or sketch piece, to also post that original piece. We have nthing to compare to to see how well you stayed within the penciller's vision.
that said, the thing that jumps out at me the most about this piece is that it does not look like a lot of time and precision was put into it. I apologize for the harshness of that statement, but what did you use to ink? Looks like the top part had a little more focus, and then by the time you made it to the legs, you got quick. They almost look like you just took a sharpie and colored them in. The feathering (which is my worst downfall, and is the only reason i identify with rough feathering) looks very weak. there is no varying level to the feathering. it looks like it is all one weight. and in other areas of the legs you did not seem to round off the colors and it looks like you fell "outside the lines" a little bit.
For example... in the right knee (our right, his left) at the bottom left part of it, it looks really rough on the fill in from the feathering outward towards the foot. see what i mean....
Also, on the line weight issue, the spider insignia should have thinner lines separating each "leg". you sem to have all one weight. (again, with my own learning experiences, I have come to watch closely for line weight).
Other than that, I applaud your attempt at a character that can be as tough as Venom. Great job, and look forward to seeing more work from ya.
