US Agent

I'm working a submit to Marvel and thought US Agent would be a good idea given the the Ultimates line thats out. I have messed with his shield design but nothing is really sticking yet. I do like how this pic is looking, but something seems to be missing. Anyway let me know what you think.

His mouth seems too long to me. The thickness of his arms, I'm sure, is a stylistic decision, so that doesn't bother me as much because you seem comfortable there and it's consistant.

Well, it is Damn Nice! Given that Joe Mad is drawing the next series, this more than fits in well.

I would say that since it is US Agent, he would also be sanctioned by the US Govt. So I guess a star or two to symbolize his whole patriotic stance and whose side he is on? Go with something similar to the small stars and bars Cap wears on each of his shoulders. Hell, try and shange it up a bit. Instead of the circle with star inside, make it just the star, and make the star black with a nice white outline. Maybe to denote a black ops operative or something.

Just an idea.

Looks great so far. Keep it up.

although i think this style is somewhat overdone(...and i only say this since you mentioned submitting to companies and not just drawin' for the hell of it), i find this to be very well drawn. nice job.

it was mention earlier about putting more time into the face....that would be one way of distinguishing yourself from the compition.come up with diferent facial proportions, push character and personality.
