    Orenishii (Kill Bill)

First one in this forum. I usually post in the inking lab, but some of my illustrations just don't fit the category, so I thought I would join in the fun here.
This one of three illustrations that I did based on the Kill Bill movies.

    that's nice man.
Good to see you branching out from inks

The left eye (our left) on the smaller o-ren is kind of weird. Just seems slightly off center.

Nice piece. Good composition. Two things I'd look at fixing, though.

First is the tangent between the jaw line and the blade. Second would be the highlights on her hair: they're too close to her skin tones and so look like her scalp showing through.

    Thanks,

Yep, I noticed that sword tangent a while after I finished it and couldn't believe I missed it during.

About the eyes: I think they're absolutely dead-on. I just watched Kill Bill there, and I noticed for myself - good looking as she undoubtedly is, the woman's eyes are swonk. That is, her left eye runs at a different tilt to her right - just ever so slightly. Once you notice it, you can't help but see it...
