Very nicely done. A lot of detail, and I love how you rendered her hair.
I don't understand why the hair is getting windblown indoors and why the wind is only effecting the hair... but I like the level of detail in your drawing.

this picture is great. just out of interest, how long did it take you to do.........?
very nice picture, impressive level of detail on the characters and impressive skills as well. The beast looks great and so does the beauty. The only thing i dislike in your drawing is the eyes of the beauty. They look like they don't belong in the drawing, compared to the the high detail level comic look of the rest of the picture, the eyes look too cartoonish to me. But again nice work.
dfbovey: yea now that i look back it was quite the mistake but i was into the way it looked when i initially drew it...lol
rupertsmissen:about 6 hours
Karim: thanx for the kind words. i dunno ive been drawing eyes on my women like that of late. if you look at my erotic works all my women have eyes like that...ive noticed its been pretty popular with most of the clients that i do work for.
My only complaint is the tangent/lineup taking place between the contour of the flower's glass cover and the stair railing. This tangent area is didstracting, drawing the viewer's eyes to that spot, rather than allowing them to focus on the characters. Otherwise, this is a very nicely pencilled interpretation of B&B.![]()

The other thing you may want to consider is the overall Design of the piece. Right now you have a strong motion to the left pulling the eye off the page very quickly. Its also adding some wieght to the art making it feal like its leaning abit
When youre in the planning stage ,you want to try to keep the viewers attention as long as possible on you're piece of art by using what they call invisible arrows in Design. Basicly you want to lead the viewers eye around in a circle and pause at the most important parts. This can be done in many diffrent ways, everything from strong angles to which way the characters eyes look.
As soon as you give the viewer a way out they will take it on a subconcious level, so trapping the eye becomes very important.

awesome representation of the Beauty and the beast, I like the detail you gave to the pic and the shading, your style is also very interesting.
shouldn't the courtains be moving 'cause of the wind as is the hair?
The best thing that can happen to you is fail doing something new...this is the best way to learn
