Ok this was interesting, I was trying to make the top right background guy look like a ghost/spirit like he's been depicted in other covers (eg: http://sean.sevspace.com/photoshop/hunterkiller2.jpg) but it just wasn't working, so instead I came up with this. I also must have adjusted the saturation or colour balance of just about every character at some stage or another on this one. So all in all this picture took about 3 times as long as it should have with all the mucking around.
