    sci fi movie help?

just so anyone knows this is for the purpose of winning an argument so you know its reaaaalllyy important. Oh and btw this is in no way related to comics, but I don't think the darth vader 'read my mind burger king game' is either.

Back in the mid to late ninities there was a made for tv movie of the scifi genre. I have no idea what the name of it was, and I'm sure its very obscure being a very, very bad movie. Anyway the main focus of the movie was a post apoclayptic world where naturally, the remnants of humanity had built a dome city/base amisdt the radiation soaked wasteland. Every member of the city had some sort of gem implanted into they're forehead. The color of the gem somehow could read the inidivisual's biochemistry and that was what goverened the color of the gem. The law in the city was that only people with the same color gem could breed and reproduce, to optimize the survival of the last humans. There was one character, a half mutant who unfortunately was concieved during an attack by the mutants living outside the dome on one of the mining outposts. His gem was black, decreeing he could never mate with anyone (sucks), I can't recall how the movie ended because we lost interest and started watching infomericals. Anyway, if anyone has any inkling of the name of the movie, please let me know.

In other words...No clue. But if you remember any actors or anything you can look it up on IMDB.

I don't recall a movie, but I do seem to recall a short-lived series with that premise (which might have been based on a movie for all I can remember)... but I thought the gems were on the back of the hand or at the chest, someplace less prominent than the forehead.

They were rectangular things, right? Red, green, blue, black... I do recall this, but I can't remember the name either.

Astro's right, if you can remember even one actor, you can IMDB their history and look for something that sparks a memory, then follow that along either IMDB or Google.

yeah I know, it was completely non-pc. I'm also sure any actors who were in that movie are now working at whatever the equivalent of mcdonalds is out west or have gone on to become hobos.

90 films on imdb with "radiation" in the title. Nothing from TV or 1990-2000 seems to fit.

"gem" brings up over 400 results.

    Still looking.

    Yeah, I really am.

Did a power search for "future" between 1980 and 2000. Checked all the (TV) listings.

Unless it was a theater release that was just direct to TV cuz it was crap.

It was just a movie, right? Not a mini series or regular series?
