Working on a college campus is boring when school lets out for summer. As a means of dealing with the monotony of work this week, I started scanning doodles into Photoshop and assembling little comics. I didn't really put much effort in, so I probably shouldn't ask for critiques on the drawings. I guess what I'm looking for is if any of them are funny, and maybe worth refining?

[I didn't know where to post these, since they're sequential, but not at all a serious attempt at comics pages. If they need to be moved, please do so.]

I'm just saying... I would rather see this in my morning paper than what's there now...

And, no... I don't think they are too over the top or offensive or violent for the paper... some might, but I say give it a shot!

Heh... some of those are really funny. I see a lot of bad strips, but you might have something with this. I kinda like that you don't have a "cast", it's just a series of short skit gags. I might suggest that you place the panels slightly closer together in even groups, to make them appear a bit more cohesive. I don't mind them being verticle... some newspaper strips are run that way, and the Japanese often layout their omake in the back of their OGNs in a vertical format.
