I guess know one saw it
but i watched NC beat up on Illinois in the paint
did anyone see this movie last night?
it was retardedly entertaining, this guy had Robin WIlliams DEAD ON. i swear a few times I thought it was actually him. THe lady who played Pam Dawber looked damn near like her too.
I had no idea that Robin was with Jim Belushi the night he died. I loved how it ended though...

"Swiper no Swiping" - da da da Dora the Explorer
I taped it while I watched the NCAA game, then when the game was over I started watching the show. I just have a half hour to go on the movie. But I agree, the guy is somehow channeling Robin Williams, because he captured Williams manic energy perfectly. And if he wasn't good, the whole thing would have just died.
Many people won't get it, but the actor playing Gary Marshall was dead on too. I loved Pam Dawber, and the actress playing her is good, but she is no Pam Dawber.
This seems to be a pretty good telling of the behind the scenes of the show without going over the top with having Robins drug problem too prominent.
All in all, I am enjoying more than I did "Return to the Batcave".
Oh, damnit! I meant to watch that! Well, it's good to hear it wasn't a total flop. I thought it looked great.

I started laughing when they said that the set of Popeye was like a Roman sex orgy. Haha. It was fun though.

I thought it was pretty darn good.
I watched a good large part of it... I had had heard that it was the death of Belushi that got Williams to quit the cocaine, but I never knew he was actually there the night he died (I assume this is a true part of the story, since it ought to be easy enough to corroborate). No wonder it was the kick in the ass he needed.
I've got one of his old, Mork & Mindy days standup comedies on tape (its amazing how many famous and eventually famous people are in the audience), and there is a palpable difference in his mania, but he's just as awesome (if not more so) after he got clean.
