    Concepts for project

    Hello,

Here are the concepts for a project I am working on for school(Drawing 3 class). I have the pencils in the pencil lab. Also the concepts were done w/o reference but the ones in the pencil lab were re-adjusted with reference.

Ok...you really need to use referances when your working with a certain time period. Even if these are sketches you should already have a ton of variety and detail in your pics. The soldier on top looks too simple and typical, nothing screams creativity. I suggest you get some books on what your doing and mix what you like and when you get the hang of it you could make up your own designs. good luck.

I know the armor and weapons may represent different periods, but like I said in the pencil section are the re-adjustments with the references. And also I can't really go all out on the creativity because of the limitations the professor has put on the project and specifications. But these are just quick ideas with pencil and sharpie. The ones in the pencil section may give you a better idea of what i am talking about. But I do thank you for your oberservations so far.

the left arm is off on the top one. All i can't say is play around with it tell it looks right and also use some type of references.
