Since you guys are the finalists, I'll give you 4 extra days to finish; two full weeks, plus the remaining time in the day today. I expect a knock-down drag-out fight.

The due date will be April 9th, midnight. Final voting will be up the following Sunday.

I'm not going to be able to draw for some of the other contests i wanted to do (an upcoming project with a guy at work-- we'll have more info for y'all soon) , and I'd like to be able to get something in to a contest... so i think i'd like to get in on this.
Do we choose our character now?

Honestly, I'm going to be out of town until Tuesday, so I figured that's a good time to leave this open and get some feedback, but yeah, if you want it, chose your character now and post it so people don't pick similar characters.

Since I didn't say originally, let's start out with 16 slots, 8 marvel and 8 DC. That'll give us a good bracket of 4 rounds.

Since you have to draw it if you challenge, I'll go with Silver Surfer.

I'd really like to get in on this, but I'm going to be out of town from the 30th throught Feb 8th, and I'm afraid I wont have the time for pencils, inks and colors with a background, for the first round.
Xadrian, why don't you put down your plans for the time line (ie round one due...round 2 due....)?
If it is far enough out, I would love to jump in.

Well, I won't be back until Feb 1st and I wouldn't expect a full boat of people by then, but I wouldn't expect to start until about the 8th. Why don't we just say the official start date will be the 11th.

And as far as having all of those disciplines, I meant that you could do as many of those as you wanted. Only pencils? That's fine.

Well, since you outed me... I'm just going to have to kick everyone's ass.

With the way this is set up, do you keep the same character in every round?

I think a cool idea would be that you keep your character, or you can use a character of someone you defeated.

So for example, if you had Venom in round one, and defeated say... Silver Surfer, you could use either one of those characters against your opponent in the next round...

just an idea.

If this doesnt get started until the 11th, I may try this. Im going to be in hawaii until then and I doubt Ill do much drawing while I am there.

But I dont know my character, any suggestions?
