Comparing a book like Naruto to Dragonball is hardly complimentary in many eyes.
Comedy, Action, Romance, Adventure all describe this tidy little manga posed to fill the void of fanaticism that Dragon Ball (Z) left in its wake.
A very character driven book that sucessfully makes you care about the characters tiny universe and their day to day tribulations surviving Ninja School.
Much like Dragonball, Naruto is generational. There is a rich history for each character, teachers teach a new generation similar to the way they themselves were taught as adolescents.

You're smokin' dope, Ink. Dragonball is keen. (I'd say the real heir to DBZ's success, however, is One Piece, not Naruto.)
Dragonball is keen as all hell, but I could have done without Dragonball Z. I honestly think he should have capped it before the whole Raditz thing began the long road towards the never-ending fight scene.
I'm glad that we agree that Dragonball is keen. However, it is my contention that Dragonball Z is the greatest Superman story ever written.
