    Contacts through your website

Just curious, how many people here have had out of the blue encounters with old friends, ex lovers, people you went to school with... that looked you up and found you through your website?

It's kinda strange, I've had about 4 people contact me this month that I thought I would never hear from again. People I haven't seen or heard from in over 8 years. It's kinda cool, but I'm kinda waiting to hear from that one person who I really would rather not hear from again... nameen?

I met an old friend from high school on DeviantArt, which was pretty cool. Hadn't seen her in almost a decade, too.

Nobody. I've looked up a few people, but no one from either high school or college has.

I went to school with a bunch of choir and theater people. The likelihood of that happening is slim.

I've been contacted a LOT, especially lately. I've even had people contact me for cartooning/illustration work through my website, which is always cool. When I first put up the site, I didn't get ANYTHING, but the longer it's up, the more I get regular calls from interested parties. Oh yeah, a few old high school buddies have contacted me, too-- and someone I used to go to church with. Pretty cool.

I get contacted all the time from my website. But my "manhood" is quite satisfactory, thank you very much.

    0. None. Nada.

One would think having a URL as my name would have made it easy...but nooooo...they all do it the hard way. They look up my yahoo ID or check school records for my phone number or ask one of my previous employers. I swear...I must have gone to school with a bunch of morons...who can't use google...or a keyboard.

I HAVE however gotten a crapload of work through my website though. I've had to disable the contact page until I have some free time since the e-mails were getting out of hand.

I get it a decent amount. I've gotten a couple of emails from peeps that either I absolutely hated, or we just weren't friends period, and now all of a sudden they write these emails that make it seem like were best buddies in high school/college. Saying things like "wow, I didn't know you were talented."

    Pricks.
