EEK! Some Books I was lucky enough to get yesterday!

well I am pretty lucky in general, my g/f`s uncle owns a comic book store yesterday we went in and I got the alex ross books JLA Liberty and Justice, it is so great I just love the way that one looks, I also got the first 2 issues of the Secret Wars which is another gorgeous book, the way they depicted Dr. Doom in book #1 was just the best I have ever seen him look! I am looking forward to the rest of those , Also I got the 1 and 2nd issue of Venom& Carnage which is just too cool for words, the story is neat but the art is out of hand.. I also got Loki #3 and I am trying to get the rest because the book is also just soo good looking.
I also got 3 issues of Freaks of the Heartland which is another incredible looking book, those books are so well done I think.

    anyone else liking those?

oh yea my next goal is to get the kingdom come book, and I also snagged the life size green lantern poster..its so rad.

I wish I had enough money to buy Deicide from Humanoids/DC, but I spent all my money on Super-Patriot: War On Terror, Savage Dragon: God War, WE3, The Dave Johnson Sketchbook, Captain America #30, Promethea #31, Cla$$war #6 and Doctor Spectrum #1.

My poor wallet! Shit! My debit card expires tomorrow! I can't buy food! I have no checks!

    Eat a beaver.

I just ordered Buddha Vol. 1 by Tezuka and a (hopefully) kick ass TMNT sketchbook by Kevin Eastman from Amazon. Comic shops are for chumps.

Also, let me know how Buddha is. I've been wanting to pick some of that up.
