Unhappy Beginner artist looking for C&C?

OK, as i said I'm a beginner artist. I only started drawing a few months ago.
Anyone has any comments on this thing?

C&C please. The foreshortening is not very good on the right arm. And i know I shouldn't have left the feet out of the drawing.

    thx!

    Thumbs up

Pretty dang good for only a couple of months worth of expierence.
    A few ideas:
First of all (you'll hear it so many times it'll make your nose bleed) draw from life as much as possible. If you can't find someone to let you draw them then find photos. Draw using reference.
Also when drawing anything mechanical use a straight edge. It makes a world of difference.
Study how shadows form shapes on objects. For instance in your drawing you have defined the muscle on this guy using mainly lines. Try defining ,say the abs, using shadows instead of lines. See what happens.
Get yourself some good black and white portrait photograph referance and study how the shadows fall.
Keep at it. Draw as much as possible, you're doing great so far.
    Later,

Something that always got me about these posts. Now, do you mean you've only been drawing COMICS or COMIC STYLE PEOPLE for a few months or just drawing period for a few months, as in, you've never put pencil to paper, even as a doodle? I just find it hard to believe sometimes that people who've never drawn until a few months ago, could do something like this.

Just curious. Like I said, I see it a lot.

heh. I'll take that as a compliment, xadrian.

Look, I'm 16 years old. I've never been much of an artist, just because I've never really sat down and draw for hours, see what i mean? I've "started to draw a few months ago" means i've sat down and "tried" to draw something for some time and actually tried to get better at it.

well that's at least what it means in my case.

now... what do you think about the drawing?

draw EVERYTHING. get books on anatomy, or muscle mags, copy comic pages too . .

but you are off to a flying start man!

There are some basics about human anatomy that you have to learn, but like I said, if this is only a few months then you are bound for success
try it, you might like it

You'll draw better comics from not always drawing from comics...

    so i think.

    great start...

Not bad for a start .
Draw for life means to draw from real people, at home, school, friends (para que estan los amigos si no?).
The best advise... practice, practice and practice
