Holy crap, it's a Jackie Chan movie that actually looks like a Jackie Chan movie!!

Let's face it, Jackie's getting too old to run down buildings, leap onto moving hovercraft, fall through latticework ceilings and break glass with his face. And after the godawful FX-laden absolute NON-JACKIENESS of The Medallion and The Tuxedo (and I gotta say, Around the World in 80 Days is not inspiring me with confidence) I figured Jackie was giving it up and taking it easy, leaving the crazy stuff to newer, younger faces like Panom Yeerum.
But here he is again, in what appears to be Police Story III, an HK film which continues his earlier role that helped make him famous (which may explain why it seems so much more right than his weaker, watered-down American films), and he's sliding down flaming ropes, kicking ass and pushing a hand-cart full of bodies while the building explodes around his ears.
He still doesn't look to possess his old elastic energy, and the trailer seems to concentrate more on his dramatic performance than his stunts. Perhaps this his last hurrah, so to speak... he's over 50 now. But at least it looks like Jackie Chan, and the first good Jackie film in a long while.
