    Perhaphs some background and stronger shadows could make them look more 3D

    Yeah, I do think I need to push the shadow and highlights more in these pieces. The ones without backgrounds were commissioned to have no backgrounds, though, and quite frankly putting a direct profile shot of a dino into a background would probably not work very well.

    No kidding! I live a few minutes away from there. I'll have to go check and see if it's on display. Very nice texturing. I'm glad you posted a close up of the image (the detail was lost in the smaller pics.) Amazing stuff.
