    Wonderful! I love the color for this guy. It suits him well. I still think he needs more texture... just a hint of it. I love the movement. Do you use ref for these?! Love it! Now do a gray one!

    For all of my dinos, I start with skeletal restorations, sometimes from museum mounts, sometimes from drawings, but in any case I use the skeletal reference first and foremost.

    It's not hairy... it's covered with proto-feathers which superficially resemble fur...

    I dig it but, as with the other ones, it looks a little "soft". I'm not getting the feeling of anything with more than two dimensional weight off of it.

    It's still kickass, though. Did you draw the dinosaurs out yourself or reference them from a book? I really like the way the tailfeathers are depicted.

    Sorry, I'll confine the dinos to one thread from now on.

    I draw the dinos out entirely, yes, including some skeletal drawings as preliminaries. These particular dinos were commissioned for the Indianapolis Children's Museum's new Dinosphere exhibit.
