    Is there a better beer?

Myself...I'm a Coors drinker. My roommate....is a Michelob drinker. And that's pretty much the only two beers we really touch anymore. So I've been wondering....is there any better beer out there? It's been, like, a year since I've tasted anything besides Coors or Mechelob.

Than Coors? God I hope so.

I actually don't drink a lot of beer, but a lot of brews from all the small breweries in CO are always tasty. I like a good cider.

I can think of at least 50 other brews better than Coors. I've been avidly seeking out new imports and microbrews for the past year or so, and I must say I have developed quite the pallete(sp?).
I'm personally fond of IPAs(India pale Ale). They're a bit hoppy, with a little bite but man are they tasty.

I highly recommend Sierra Nevada in all forms including IPA.

Rogue provides some damn tasty brews as wel,l and they are as varied as a Hazlenut Ale to an Extra Bitter.

I try to stay away from the Pilsner area but if you like Heineken, you may enjoy Grolsh or Fischer.

If enjoy sushi and sake, Id wash it down with some Sapporo.

    Also
    Red Hook
    Petes Wicked Ale
    Newcastle
    Anchor Steam
    I could go on infinitely.

And when I,m poor its good ol' PBR

Man I loves me some beer.

pretty much any beer is better than coors or michelob...I don't hardly touch anything made by the major domestic breweries...imported belgium beers, and I recently discovered a local brew pub that will rent you a five gallon keg for 40 bucks...a buck a pint for super high quality beer.....oh its sooooo good. Damn I'm at work...sigh.

We have a micro-brewery and restraunt only 15 minutes from our house in St. Charles called Trailhead. They have a few beers that they brew all year round, and they have some that are seasonal. And they are damn fine beers.

If you like mexican beers, Negra Modelo is excellent. Full bodied but not bitter. Far better than Corona (which I like too). Tching Tao is a nice asian beer, with a bit of an apple after taste to it.

But a better beer? That is very personal and subjective. It just depends on what you like. Oh, and trailhead has a blonde ale, and every time I order it I tell my wife it is just like her, full bodied with not a lot of head.
